BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop
Erika played "Marianne" in the new musical adaptation of Death at a Funeral, written by Pance Pony and Ernest Bird. The presentation was held at the BMI offices in the World Trade Center as part of the world renowned BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop.
Erika was very excited to be a part of the world-premiere musical Summer Stock at the Tony-award-winning Goodspeed Opera House in CT! She was a member of the ensemble and understudied the role of "Margaret Wingate" (played by Tony-award-winner Veanne Cox). Click here for more information
April 11 - 30, 2023:
42nd Street
Erika enjoyed a wildly successful run as the inimitable diva "Dorothy Brock" in 42nd Street at the renowned Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, FL - the final show of their 50th Anniversary Season! Click here for review snippets.
Erika had the pleasure and honor of singing in a fully-orchestrated presentation of this beautiful new musical by composer/lyricist/lead actor Ernie Bird, held on the anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The performance was held in the beautiful Mark A. Scorca Hall at OPERA America in NYC.
Nov 29 - Dec 26, 2022:
Manhattan Holiday Carolers
Fa-la-la-la-la!
Erika was super excited to back singing alto with the wonderful a cappella caroling company, Manhattan Holiday Carolers. Fun fact: this was her 18th season as a professional caroler!
Public performances included Tree Lightings at Tavern on the Green in NYC, The Life Lutheran Church in Old Westbury NY, and the Turtle Bay Association, as well as "Christmas in Historic Richmond Town" out on Staten Island. It was a fantastic and festive holiday season.
Erika was honored to return to the role of "Madame Baurel" in the beautiful musical An American in Paris, this time at the Argyle Theatre in Babylon, NY. Her performance was dedicated both to her late husband Jeff who passed away shortly after the last time she played this role, and to her mother Judith, who shockingly passed away during Erika's first week of rehearsals. Erika's mom was so very excited for her daughter, so there was no question about her continuing with the show. Erika would like to thank the Argyle family for their compassion and for dedicating the Opening Night performance to Judith Frances Amato.

The Belmont 4 (Sometimes 3)
Erika sings doo-wop!
As part of Arthur Avenue Little Italy's "Piazza di Belmont" program, Erika had a blast singing her heart out and "bringing doo-wop back to the Bronx" every weekend from May through Halloween last year, and the group will be back at it through the end of September this year, too.

Ever since moving to NYC in 2008, one of Erika's favorite "side gigs" has always been singing as a "ringer" in professional church choirs. After a two-year hiatus, she was thrilled to return to St. Clement's Episcopal Church earlier this summer for a special Communion Anthem as well as singing in the professional choirs at several services at the world-famous St. Patrick's Cathedral and Madison Avenue Baptist Church.
September 24 - 26, 2021
The Comedy of Errors
Erika had the great pleasure of playing the Abbess (Emilia) and Luce in Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors this September, produced by Boomerang Theatre Company and directed by Scott Ebersold. Yes, this was LIVE ON STAGE - despite the pandemic! :-)

2021 Caroling Season!
Erika was thrilled to return to caroling in 2021, especially since the 2020 season was derailed by covid. She was honored to be invited to sing alto in both "The Jolly Holidays" and "Manhattan Holiday Carolers," - two of the most prestigious companies in the NYC metropolitan area - and sang her heart out at a variety of venues, from tree lightings at Tavern on the Green, Kips Bay Towers, and The Life Lutheran Church, to caroling table-to-table in the fabulous Italian restaurants on Arthur Ave in the Bronx.
